Hi,

I was looking at the St James room and the reason we didn't choose that location was because the patio was overlooked by the hotel rooms.

I was just wondering if that was the same for the Whitehall patio? I know some of it is covered but I haven't seen pictures from the other angle.

If anyone has any photos they would like to share I would love to see them.

Many thanks!:goodvibes

No, the patio is in the convention center and separated from the Grand Floridian from the monorail track. So, I s'pose people on the monorail will be able to catch 15-second glances at your event, if that's an issue...

If you check out this map of the GF, you'll see that the closest guestrooms are still pretty far away from their side of the monorail track, and there are trees between them and the track:

Great! Thank you :goodvibes

We spent a lot of time on the patio for our reception. The only people who could see us were on the monorail and we'd wave every time.

Is St James' room really overlooked? I have only seen some limited photos and wasn't aware what could be seen. do you have any pictures?
