Does anyone have any information on this airport? We're using it for the first time and their website says it has limited parking. Are there parking garages around it? Hotels that you can stay the night before and leave the car parked for the week?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. TIA

The la Qunita Inn in Armonk has a park and fly program. You can stay the night before, or just pay to park and they shuttle you to and from the airport.

Thank you I didn't see that on their website. It's exactly what I was looking for.

Glad to help. It worked really well for us. Have a great trip!

We are also flying out of the airport for the first time and plan on parking at the LaQuinta in Armonk it's only about 10 minutes from the airport I got a stay and park rate for $119 for the night including the parking for up to 10 nights and someone told me it's $10 a night to only park there not stay at the hotel. Linda :)

I have to check on the $10 a day too. I checked and it's $119 for when we want to stay also. Our only problem is we have a 6:40 am flight. How early do they start the shuttle. When I called on Friday the person at the desk said the shuttle didn't start till 7am. :confused3

But if we can park for $10 a day and get a cab it's still cheaper then the airport. I have no problem parking at the airport (it's only 5 nights) but everyone keeps telling us there's no parking there we'll never get a spot.

We took a ride to White Plains airport a couple of years ago because I found this really great rate on airfare. At that time I called area hotels and none of them offered a park and fly rate. The airport is nice and small similar to Stewart if you've ever flown out of there, but the parking is minimal I was afraid we would get there and there would'nt be a spot open. DH got out and spoke to someone working at the airport and he suggested we get a ride to the airport. So I looked into a towncar service and was told they needed to have a permit with the airport to be able to wait there for your flight coming in, I was able to find someone who told me they wait outside the airport till they receive a call from the person saying they have their luggage then they pull into the airport. The savings for the flight was eaten up by the cost of the limo service so we ended up flying out of Newark instead. I'm wondering if you went the morning of your flight before they start shuttleing people if someone would be there to handle the parking of your car. You may need to go the night before and do a stay & fly ressie you could sleep a little later and I would think you would be able to get a taxi in the am. You may want to take a ride to the hotel and airport before your trip to familiarize yourself with the airport and hotel location and find out while at the hotel if you can get a taxi to the airport that early. Linda :)

We have flown out of White Plains 3 times and parked at the airport twice. We went during free dining in August and never had a problem with finding a spot. The parking lot is small and expensive last year it was $22 a day.

We've flown out of HPN several times. I really like this airport -- alot less stressful than the other NYC-area airports. Before JetBlue and AirTran were there we drove ourselves and parked in the lot. But in recent years when we've flown JetBlue from there we take a car service. It's more expensive than parking but takes out the worry over whether or not we'll have a spot.

We have flown out of White Plains several times where we parked at La Quinta for $10 per day. You should call them the day before to let them know about when you are coming and how many people you have. They will even shuttle you over to the airport. When you return you call the number they give you and the driver will come pick you up and bring you back to La Quinta. The last time we paid to park at White Plains airport it was almost $30. per day, and finding a parking spot can be hard.
