White Beer

Ok guys....help me out. I love beer....I was in my local grocery store today and saw some white beer from Germany. I was intrigued and considered buying it but figured I would see if anyone had tried it before.

So.....if you have tried it, speak up!

Not speaking to any specific brand, but 'white' beer, as far as I know, is just another term for 'wheat' beer. It's pretty darn good drinks and one of my summertime favorites. Here's a site with a good description: http://www.sallys-place.com/beverages/beer/wheat_beer.htm

Some of the bars around here serve wheat beer with just a small sliver of lemon. Pretty tasty stuff.

Shiner Hefeweizen is another favorite of mine, too, but I'm not sure if it's widely available outside of this region.
