I made a PS for Whispering Canyon and want to know the best way to get there from the parks. Which one would be the fastest? so I can plan Itenary for that day. Also when arriving at MK I read somewhere to take the boat from the parking lot as fastest way. Did I misread that?

The boat ride from MK is about 10 minutes long and to get to the restaurant, go in the lobby and it's straight back to the right. Just follow the sound of all the hoopin' and hollerin'. Have a great time and don't forget to ask for ketchup!!!!

the boat dock in front of MK. it will be marked wilderness lodge and fort wilderness. enjoy!

If you are driving to the magic kingdom, you will park at the TTC and take a boat or monorail over to the park. Once you are at the park, you will have to take a different boat to the Wilderness lodge. (There is no boat that goes from the ttc to the wilderness lodge)
If you are driving and just want to go to dinner without stopping at magic kingdom just drive to the wilderness lodge and park at the resort.
If you are at any other park and want to get to the wilderness lodge for dinner, take the resort bus there.
Hope this helps!

Fastest way to get there is by boat. There is a separate boat dock for the Wilderness Lodge and Fort Wilderness. Make sure to give yourself at least 30 minutes prior to your PS time to give you enough time to get there. The boats run about every 20 minutes.

I definately agree with parking at the hotel if you have a car. Nothing better than coming out full and getting in your car and going back to your room. Taking Disney transportation late in the evening back to a resort hotel is tiring. We learned our lesson years ago. We try to plan resort restaurants so we have access to our car.

To me, driving my car and parking at MK is a hastle, so I avoid resort hotels on MK days if I can.

Agree. Boat is the best way to WL. . .unless you're staying there like we were! If you're not in prime season, don't sweat the PS too much. We walked up to the hostess sans PS and were seated immediately. Frankly, the food isn't the best, rather lackluster in nature and presentation. But, it is a hoot to watch all the shenanigans of the servers. During our meal, all the dads had to get up, form a circle around the dining room, and do a buttercup song & dance routine. We were quite amusing!:jester:
