Did anyone just absolutely HATE this restaurant? I am going to try call for ps tomorrow and I am wondering if it is worth the hype and whether or not the food is any good? Dh, ds and I are non pork eaters--only dd and dnephew. So I see that this would limit our food choices. Should we try it or should we try something else.

We are already booked for Chef Mickey's (been there before and we had a great time) and Hollywood & Vine FDP. We are also going to the Sci-Fi at MGM. We have already done Cinderella's Royal Table and the Crystal Palace and 1900 Park Faire so no need to do it again--especially with 6 & 9 yr old boys.

TIA

OH! It's well worth it. They will find something they like! It's a lot of fun! Your boys will LOVE it! :wave2:

This is my kids favorite restaurant(3 and 6 years old). They would not let us go to disneyworld without stopping there for at least one dinner.

Tell them "no pork", they'll work with you:earsboy: Fun place::yes::

I would also do breakfast! We did the breakfast 2 years ago and loved it. We did dinner there 2 weeks ago and weren't impressed. There are many better places to try for dinner! My recommendations are Boma and 'Ohana. I would definitely do those again instead of Whispering Canyon. The food is fine, not bad at all, but in my opinion there are better things out there!

We did dinner there a while back and it was a lot of fun. We do not eat pork either (SDA) and found plenty to eat there and be sure to ask for ketchup.

Dh, ds and I are non pork eaters-

We don't eat pork either, and I've wondered if they have beef sausages for at the breakfasts, but was told no.:(

Thanks 4greatboys! We took it last week at 1900 Park Fare. She is quite the little lady as you can see.

If you like to play and have fun during your meal and you don't mind crazy goofballs surrounding you, Whispering Canyon is the place to eat. If you don't like to get into the spirit of the place, you won't appreciate most of the 'atmosphere' this restaurant is known for.

We had breakfast there twice in February, when we stayed at WL. We intend to eat there again during our June trip. And we will be sure to ask for Jolly Rancher Charles..........he was a blast. I was Cousin Peggy Sue and my S.O. was Cousin Bubba. This trip I'm bringing Cousin Charles some Jolly Rancher candy, since he never had any during the last trip :jumping1:

Our sons were 6 and 5 when we were there and they loved it! They are 9 and 8 now and can`t wait to go back this July!

Just dont ask for ketchup, and for heaven's sake, DONT ask for a LARRRRRRRRGE drink or else you get this:
