Whispering Canyon ?

It's been years since we have eaten at Whispering Canyon. My DH would like to make the trip out there again on our next trip. If memory serves me, it seemed like a pain to get out there. Like we drove to a parking lot and then had to ride a bus from a parking lot to the resort - is that still the way it works? If you were going to go out and eat there which park day would it be the easiest to run over to for dinner?

Driving like all Disney resorts it has its own parking lot and the lot is close to the resort even the furthest spot would not be more than a 5 minute walk?
You can take a Bus from MK it is maybe 8 minutes or a Boat which is maybe 10-12 minutes once you are on the transportation method.
you may be thinking of the camp grounds -- fort wilderness not wilderness lodge and not where WC is located.

I forgot about the boat from MK to Wilderness Lodge. May make more sense to do that on one of our MK days. Thanks!!

If you're driving, it's super easy. Drive to the resort & park and you're there. If you're relying on Disney transportation then it's a lovely boat ride from MK.

It sounds like you are describing Trail's End at Fort Wilderness.

What you describe sounds like Trails End in Fort Wilderness Campground. To get to Trails end you park at the front of the property and then have to bus back to the restaurant.

WCC is at Wilderness Lodge where the parking lot is right next to the hotel.

We've never been to the campground, so I know that's not it...I wonder if they didn't have something going on - construction or what not that required us to park at the other lot. It was like 10 years ago, so who knows!!

Thanks for clearing it all up though that we can actually park at the resort or just do the boat ride.

Maybe they had you park at the TTC and they bused you the hotel?
