We will get to wdw on May 19th. Do I really need to make reservations at Whispering canyon if we want to eat there that night. This is our first time there so if there is any other restaurant we should eat at please feel free to let us know. :thanks: :dumbo: :tink:

You could get lucky for lunch, but for dinner, make ADRs for sure.

Make 'em. It can be crowded. I actually can't recall if we had a reservation or not and I am thinking that if you showed up about 5:00 you might be okay, but why risk it. I'd schedule it to be safe.

:thumbsup2 if you do not schedule an adr be prepared for a 45-1h wait if you can get a reservation. It is a bustling sort of place, not quiet.. Our server Candy was very nice, food ok (but we were exhausted-so might have been better but we didn't notice  ). I think my boys (8yo) had a great time-they did the pony races, and wished a young girl happy birthday and did the ketchup thing. You don't have to worry about kids behaving or your table being too loud, because that is just not going to happen. :thumbsup2
