This restaurant is very, very loud. When we went it was around 7 pm on a Sunday at the end of a busy MK day - I took my DS8 and my parents.
Well, my son slept through the entire meal and missed all the entertainment, and my parents winced through the entire meal as a lady with a very shrill voice screeched into the PA system for the entertainment - she should have either ditched the microphone (we all would have heard her) or spoken in a normal voice with the microphone. It was painfully loud and the whole meal was uncomfortable - while the food seemed like it would have been good, it's hard to enjoy it when you're wincing all the time. Maybe we were just tired, or maybe we were beside a speaker, but it was just painful. My parents had to resort to wearing earplugs just to get through the meal. My son must have been nearly unconscious to have slept through it (found out later he had the flu).
At no point in the meal could we hear each other to say "pass the butter" or hear what the waitress was saying. We had to use sign language and point to things, the waitress had to bend over so I could try to yell our orders in her ear, but ended up just pointing to what we wanted on the menu.
I'd heard it was rowdy and the kids were okay but the main problem was too loud a voice being used with the PA system. This was really the only disappointing experience we had at WDW.
Maybe we just got there on a bad night with an inexperienced announcer - boy, her voice was SHRILL!! I'm wincing now just thinking about it.
