Whispering Canyon or Trail Ends

We are hoping to book Horseback riding at Fort Wilderness for 11:30 and wanted to go get breakfast first. We will get our resort bus (off site) to MK and then go from there to Fort Wilderness. Ive heard good things about Wispering Canyon breakfast at Wilderness Lodge which would be great to go to but wonder if it would be easier just to go straight to FW and eat at Trails End. I assume you can get the boat to WL from MK as you can FW but wondered what is the best way to then get to FW from WL?

In terms of maximizing your time and sechdule, I would personally have breakfast at TE and then explore FW before your horseback riding. In my opinion too much travelling in such a short time frame will be exhausting.

if memory serves, trails end is at one end of FW and the horses are at the other...trails end is over by the boat dock, while the horses are at by the car entrance to FW (the opposite end)...

you can take a boat from MK to FW, but then you'll have to take the internal bus inside FW to get you over to the horses...

i think there's also a boat from WL to FW......
so you could take a boat from MK to WL...then a boat from WL to FW...
but it could take a long time....waiting for the boats takes time..

and as i said, once you get to FW, you'll have to take the internal bus to get you over to the tri-circle D ranch....

i think if it were me, i'd take the boat from MK to FW....
eat breakfast at trails end, then take the internal bus over to where the horses are....

There is a boat to both WL and FtW (seperate boats). There is also a boat that goes CR- WL-FtW and the opposite way. You can also walk WL to FtW.

The boat arrives at the back of FtW and the ranch for the trail rides is at the front. You can get any of the buses from the Outpost to the Settlement. You go past TE to get to the bus stop from the boat dock.

Eat where you want - moving between the resorts is easy just need to allow enough time.
