Whispering Canyon or Planet Hollywood for arival day?

Can't decide on if we should go to DTD and eat at Plant Hollywood or Rainforest Cafe or go to Whispering Canyon, any ideas?

If you're going to HUNGRY then I'd say Whispering Canyon.

All are great also you should ck out T Rex . It's cool looking inside a good food.

I see two little boys that would be in Total ahhhh at T-Rex ,these places dont have 5 star food but they have 5 star coolness! Planet Hollywood is cool 2 & the food is not bad

We don't like either of those choices. I will say that Whispering Canyon is more fun though. Our last trip there in August 09, we found the food to be very greasy. Probably our last time there in a while, yet our boys still love the place. Planet Hollywood is too loud for us and the food overpriced. Why not a quick stop at Earl of Sandwich and save some money for shopping at DTD?

I do like T-Rex as an idea though. I've been to the one in KC, not WDW. It's a fun place and not as loud as Planet Hollywood.

I would say if you have a Rainforest Cafe, or Planet Hollywood anywhere near you, go to WCC.

The first 2 are chain restaurants and while Rainforest can be good, I like to stick to more "Disney" restaurants while there....JMO

Go to WCC! The food is good and it is a fun place.

Our experience with Planet Hollywood was not a good one. That was 15 years ago and we haven't returned since. Stay away from Planet Hollywood!

It depends on how tired you are when you arrive. Planet Hollywood is in Downtown Disney and that is an adventure in itself...Walking through Downtown Disney always gets me in the Disney spirit.

Then again, if you are going to be tired then I vote for WCC.

PH and WCC are both a great time.

Easily WCC! My DH and I did this one on our honeymoon on the last day for lunch. We had a great waiter and the food was great. We loved the atmosphere and good homestyle food. We can't wait to go back and take my parents next January.

I have to agree with the PP. This is the one place that we tried once. Food and service was really bad.

I say WCC. The food IMHO is very good; the skillet is a must do for a hearty appetite. Also, the WL is a really neat place to check out if you've never been there. I'm not impressed with Planet Hollywood or the Rain Forest. I have never eaten at the T-Rex before, but from what I have heard it's from the same ownership as the Rain Forest.

for your first night of a trip - i'd go with whispering canyon. the food is awesome! and so much of it! plus the CMs are great and the atmosphere is a lot of fun. we loved it plus it's worth it to go have a look at the wilderness lodge which is beautiful. (unless of course that is where you are staying already) eating there will really make you feel like you're in disney world!

Food and atmosphere is great! And like many others have said, the others are chain restaurants available in most big cities. You can also take the time (if not too tired!) to walk around the resort. WL is beautiful!

The only place ive been is planet hollywood
food was good but music was so loud conversation was nearly impossible. luckily we somehow got one of the closed in booths but i was still starting to go deaf
