Whispering Canyon on Dining Plan??

I was told that dessert is not included...can anyone tell me why? Is this worth using on the dining plan? Any info would be very helpful.

We are going to WCC, and was told if we ordered a skillet we could not have an appatizer, but we could have a dessert. Who told you this?

Dessert is included at WCC. If you get the skillet, then the salad that comes with it is considered appetizer, therefore you can't get any other appetizer. If you don't get the skillet then you still get appetizer, entree, and dessert.

We ate there in Sept. Since the Skillet already comes with a salad you cannot order a separate appetizer, but we got a choice of desserts.

Our Famous Canyon Skillet All-You-Care-To-Eat - All you care to eat BBQ Skillet: Starts with Mixed green tossed in apple vinaigrette dressing and fresh baked corn bread. Smoked Pork Ribs, Canyon Pulled Pork, Pork Sausage, Oven-roasted Chicken, Yukon Gold mashed potatoes, creamy coleslaw, Cowboy beans, and Corn on the cob .

When we went we all got the skillet and they allowed an appetizer and dessert. That was during the free dining when a lot of kinks were being worked out, though, so maybe it has changed.

We also were able to get the bottomless milkshakes. Yum! Our meal at WCC ended costing over $140 for our family of five. Good thing we had the meal plan!

We had no problem with the dining plan at Whispering Canyon.

To be honest.. we were so full, we skipped dessert and I think he substitute our bottomless milkshake for our dessert.
