Whispering Canyon Lunch

Lunch hours at WC are listed as 11:45-2:30. Dinner starts at 5:00. We need to be at MK for MNSSHP by 4:00. There is a WC lunch ADR at 2:10. Does WC stay open later than 2:30 for those with late ADR's? I want my boys to enjoy the antics at WC, so will this still happen during a late lunch? I'd really like to go to WC before MNSSHP, but 5:00 dinner is too late and I don't want to miss being able to get into the party early, and I'm worried a late lunch will be rushed with the restaurant closing. Anyone have experience with WC lunch and going to MNSSHP?

Yes it will be open until the last person leaves. It's usually the servers that do the antics and I can tell you on one occasion it was us and another family left and our server tried to fix my (then 12 yr old) dd up with the other family's son and it was really cute (of course my dd was embarrassed LOL!)..but it just depends on the server(s)...we were not rushed as the servers have their side work and didn't seem to be in a rush to leave. She seemed to more into the silly "fix-up" with the kids than leaving. I'm sure you'll be through by 3-3:30 and will get to the park at a good time for MNSSHP.

2:30 is just the last ADR available time. If you check most of the restaurants hours versus when you can get an ADR for that reservation, it is usually up to 5 minutes before the listed close time.
