I love WCC! We stumbled upon it on one of our trips a few years ago and have gone back just about every trip since then. I can't say anything about other items on the menu since we always order the skillet and we all love it!

I would say don't worry about what everyone else thinks. The only way you'll be able to decide if it's good or bad is if you go check it out yourself. So go and have fun!

We have eaten there twice. Both times were a flop. We got stuck in the small room at the back on both times. We could hear lots going on in the main dining room but couldn't see a thing, Food was OK but not great. If they start marching you to back stop your CM and ask for the main dining room.

By the way, the server was very good.

I was pretty disappointed last time because we had a later ADR, and there were simply NO antics going on from our server. We saw other tables having plenty of fun. DH ordered soda after soda after soda, and she just kept refilling his little glass.

We are coming up on our 90 days and DH's ONLY request is that we go back to WCC. It just goes to show you that our expectations may be a little too high from obsessively planning these trips, because by food alone, that was his favorite meal! However, I don't understand why someone would want to work there if they weren't into the silliness.

Thanks to everyone who replied. You gave me the confidence to stick with my WCC Adr. I knew there was a few reasons why I booked it. I want to check out the restaurant, plus I've never seen Wilderness Lodge. Thanks everyone!

We've eaten at WCC on our past two trips. First time, we loved it! It's a fun atmosphere good food and a change of pace and we love exploring Wilderness Lodge. It's fun to take the boat over there and then we always take the boat over to MK after dinner. However, the last trip we had ADR's for 6:10 and were not seated until 7:30. We were trying to see Spectro at 9:00 and made it to MK just as it was starting. My family fell asleep in the chairs in the lobby waiting for them to call us. It was ridiculous! I think maybe because the place is small that it can get overwhelmed. I don't know. I do know my family asked if we could skip it this time.
