We are able to book ADR's as of September 15. Have had our list set for months and out of the blue last night DD says "Oh yeah, I want to go to the Whispering Canyon Cafe." What?!? We visited WL briefly this last trip because it is one of the few deluxe resorts we thought we might be interested in staying in someday, if we win the lottery. But I guess seeing that restaurant made an impression on her. Which meal would you recommend? Breakfast, lunch or dinner? Really have no idea about this restaurant.

If you want to experience the more rowdy and interactive meals, go for breakfast or dinner. If you want a quieter meal, go for lunch. I've been for all three at different times, and it's been my experience that although the servers will interact with you at lunchtime, the fact that the restaurant isn't overflowing with guests tends to make it a more subdued experience than the other meals (especially breakfast).

I have had dinner there on 2 different trips. It was excellent both times. And fun for the kids and adults also.I had the pork chops both times with no complaints....service was excellent. I plan on getting ADR when I go again next year.

I am thinking breakfast or lunch and paying OOP. Don't really want to give up one of the TS's we have planned and that seems the best use of funds! Thanks for the info.

We have dined at the WCC for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and we found the most calm to be lunch. The most rowdy to be dinner, followed by breakfast. It is a really fun restaurant, and I highly recommend going during dinner or breakfast. :)

I've been to WCC twice for lunch and enjoyed it both times (yesterday was the second time, actually!). One difference is if you are planning to get the all-you-can-eat skillet, it is $15 for lunch and $22 for dinner (same dish). That's why went for lunch in the first place. I've never been for dinner, so I don't know how loud it is, but I don't think I would want it any louder (we don't have kids).

I'd really like to try it for breakfast--the breakfast skillet is $11 and sounds really really good. For those who have gone for breakfast--do you think late or early would be more "calm?"

We have been there for dinner and enjoyed the fun and the food.

Well we JUST this morning switched our reservations from POFQ to WL for our trip. We will fly in late Thursday evening and I think I will book lunch there for Friday afternoon. Then we can sleep in late and get our day going there. Thanks for all the information.

We are eating at WCC on our arrival date, I am so excited.:cool1:
I plan to ask for a rowdy server because I want to have the full WCC experience!

:cheer2:
