Does the WCC have their "fun" events at lunchtime on weekdays or just at dinnertime?

They do their crazy antics at all meals, although Breakfast is a little toned down because of the noise it creates in the lobby. Lunch is just as much fun as dinner.

Just make sure you go in the "middle" of lunch. We went near the end of lunch and it was a ghost town. No antics, no fun.

Time it right, and it should be great!

We ate lunch at WCC last week, and it was the most fun meal we have had there. We have eaten breakfast, lunch, and dinner at WCC over the years, and I think that the level of fun has more to do with your server than with which meal you are eating. We had a noon ADR (earliest time for lunch), and the antics started right away.

Breakfast is 7:30am-11am
Lunch is 12-3pm
Dinner is 5pm-10pm

If you go more between 12:30pm and 2pm they are more lively cause there tends to be more people in the restaurant eating...

I ate lunch there last week with katerkat and wdwpluto and full antics were going on. We were probably there from about 12:30-2ish. I also went with my parents for breakfast later in the week at 9:40 and the servers were doing a great job.

We went around 2:30, and it was too close to closing time for much to be going on.

Yeah, but there was some weird guy - a guest - singing happy birthday to one of the other guests.

We usually go right when it opens and there are a lot of things going on. I think th latest we have eaten is 1:30 and things it seemed to be quieter then.

We went for 3 (maybe 4) meals when we stayed at WL a few years ago. Lunch had fun stuff, too. It really was all server dependent. We had one server that no one else lived up to, one server who was way too sedate for the place and the other who was fun, just not as fun as that one server.

Do we need to make lunch reservations or just show up? We are going in February and it would be a weekday. We are staying off-site - seems like Wilderness Lodge might be one of those HARD TO FIND places...

I was wondering how much they charge for the margarita in the tall glass (you do get to keep the glass,right?) and do they serve them during lunch or only at dinner?

We are able to walk in to WCC everytime we go. Generally, we stay in VWL, but even if we stay at another DVC resort, we go there for at least one meal. I don't know how it is now with DDP, but we've never had a problem. I would think as long as you're not going at a high peak time, like Saturday night for dinner, you should be ok.

Yes it was kind of unnerving :biggrin: I think the Margarita's were $9 in the tall glass.
