Whispering canyon cafe for dinner

which park would you pick to spend the day for having ease to get to Whispering Canyon for dinner for 7:30pm. using WDW transportation...

and how would you get there ?

We go there for dinner every year...it's great! I would suggest taking the boat from MK to the WL. It would be the easiest!

Boat or bus from MK (the bus is direct, so if you don't have to wait long for it, it will be faster than the boat if speed is the issue. If speed is not the issue, try the boat.)

If it was me,I'd pick the Animal Kingdom b/c it closes early & you'd have plenty of time to take a break @ the hotel then go.
I'd leave the hotel @ like 6 or 6:30 & head to MK & transfer to the boat so u can enjoy the ride.
The reason I say this is just b/c I don't like to miss the parade & fireworks @ Mk. =)

You can reach WCC at the WL by boat or bus from MK.

We eat here every trip and take the boat. It has been a straight 10-12min ride to WL. (if you do take the boat make sure to get on the boat for Wilderness Lodge, not Fort Wilderness. They are next to each other and it can get confusing with "wilderness" in both titles).

What about from Hollywood Studios? We will be at HS the day we have ressies at WCC. Does HS have a boat that takes you to WL?

There's no boat. From the Studio you'll have to take the bus to the WL.

The boat you see outside DHS is on a different waterway and travels between DHS, the Epcot resorts and Epcot.

I personally think the best way to get to Wilderness Lodge is by boat. You can either take the boat from MK, or the Contemporary. There's something about a short boat ride that sets the right mood.

If your coming from EPCOT, you can take the monorail to the Contemporary and a boat to Wilderness Lodge.
