Whispering canyon cafe and ketchup?

I was reading on someone's dining report that WCC no longer does the ketchup shenanigans. Can anyone confirm this is true? I'm sorry if this has been asked multiple times. My daughter will be very sad and I will need to switch my ADR (kinda wanted to try Boma, anyway! ).

Really??!!! I hope that's not true. My kids love all the crazy stuff the wait staff does while we're dining. I'll be anxious to see the answer.

I think it's a hit or miss and just really depends on your waiter/waitress.

We had dinner at WCC on Friday and they certainly did do the calls for ketchup. My niece needed ketchup for her burger and the waiter made us do the call. He counted to three for us and we all did it together. Some of the other tables had the waitresses do it.

Our waiter, Dirk, was awesome. He brought me 4 extra glasses of root beer because I finished the first one so fast and he kept bringing paper cups to the table to refill the glasses. They never went empty.

It was our first time at WCC and I was a bit hesitant because of some of the reviews that I have read, but I will definitely go back on the next trip. Our group ranged in ages from 5 to 65 and everyone had a ball.

While I do think it depends on your server whether or not they are big into the antics....the ketchup thing is in full affect.

Your daughter won't be disappointed.

Thank you all!!! I may have to mention the level of excitement to the waiter so they'll play it up for her. Hopefully if we get a CM not so into the antics, they will play it up a bit with a special request. I was kind of looking forward to switching to Boma, though!
