Whispering Canyon and payment

It's been 5 years since our last trip to Disney. We are going to visit Wilderness Lodge, Polynesian and Grand Floridian on the day of our MVMCP night to see the holiday decorations. Was thinking of eating at Whispering Canyon for lunch before heading to MK by 4pm. Any idea how long lunch would take and can you use your Chase Disney Visa reward card to pay for your meal there?

They always take credit cards at restaurants. Give it around an hour once you sit down.

OK. We apply our rewards card towards our hotel charges when we check in knowing we'll use it all up.

Not only can you use it; you can also get a 10% discount if you mention it. It's available with either the credit card or the redemption card.

Thanks so much for all the responses We are not staying onsite so we won't be able to put it against a room charge. But thrilled to hear I can use it at the restaurant AND get 10% off the bill just by showing it. We always have had the dining plan when staying at WDW so never knew about this. We are staying at Universal and coming to experience our first MVMCP!!
