Whish resort 4 my family

I'd love any advice on which on-site hotel all you experts would reccomend for my family. We are mom, dad, and 2 dss 12 and 15. The boys love nice pools. We are trying to decide if this is the right time to plan a vacation for spring break 2008, so I'd love your top picks for each hotel group (economy, moderate and the other) Also with AAA and any other good discount what should we expect to pay? My guys all love MGM, Epcot, AK and Mk in that order. We stayed at The Swan serveral years ago on a great code and loved the pool and boat transportation. Would like to try something else, but could easily be talked into going back.

I realize this is a pretty wide open question, but trying to find out where to all the hotels are in realtion to the parks and what amenedies each has, then adding in costs, I am terribly overwhelmed with even narrowing down the choices.

I've stayed at a few hotels throughout the years but my favourites are probably the Yacht & Beach Club (we stayed at the Yacht) and Wilderness Lodge.

You mentioned that your kids are really into pools. The Yacht & Beach Club (walking distance to Epcot) have the best pools (huge, great slide) but those two hotels are on the higher end.

Wilderness Lodge (near MK - take a boat or bus, less than 10 minutes) is probably priced in the middle. The pool is okay. If your kids are into water sports, there is a huge lake beside the resort where you can rent different boats and go from WL to the Contemporary and to MK (but you can't get too close to the main dock at the MK where the transportation boats dock).

My family loves the WL and we have been there twice. I think it's a more relaxed atmosphere compared to the Yacht & Beach, but still very nice, good restaurants, etc and you can get bunk beds for your kids.
