2 Day 1 Night trip. Oct. 27th Sunday arrive in the morning. Leave Monday night at 6 PM!
So far everything was working as planned! I could not believe the heat! It was 89 degrees and humid! Good thing we packed our hat and sunvisor!
We have been up since 3 AM Sunday Morning and now it was 3PM Sunday Afternoon. I am feeling a little tired.....especially after the wine seminars!
We walk back to the room at the BC- 2590 and shower and get dressed for the AP Pumpkin Patch Party at MK and then we have 6 PM LTT PS and then we wil do MNSSHP and stay until the end!
We did not dress-up in Costume but we did wear Lime-green so I guess we went as DIS'ers!
We were right on time and made it to MK by 5 PM!
We walked through just in time to watch the Flag Retreat! I had never seen this so this was a first! There was not more than 3 people in front of us at the turnstile to get into the MK. Everyone was leaving. There was a lot of characters just as you enter the Park!
We did get our Candy Bag but no wristbands. They gave them to you later! There were people stationed throughout the Park and you could not get candy or a picture without the wristband.
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh! There it is!!!! The Castle!
Hey guys! Were in Disney World!!!!
Next we made it Columbia Harbor House Restaurant to the AP Party. We were on a mission to find some Lime Green Ribbons! We got our free drinks and then went upstairs for our first candy!
A band was playing and there were a lot of characters!!!
But alas....we did not see any Lime green Ribbons. We were dressed up in Lime Green but no one asked us!
Did you notice my lime green ribbon and name tag???? I ask...how could anyone miss us??? LOLOLOL!!!
We did get our candy and popcorn and they were giving out green and red apples!!!! Hooray for the Healthy eaters!! ( We did not get one!

Now we were getting hungry so we decided to walk over to LTT for our 6 PM PS although it was only 5:30. We got there and gave our name. Again...there wasn't anyone in the restaurant! As we walked over to sit down someone calls out my name....FINALLY!!!
A fellow DIS'er! It's Janet2K and her lovely daughter! We get a chance to talk for a few minutes and then they call her name. So I tell her we will meet up again! Then they call our name and off we go! We sit down and our server promptly brings our salad. It was wilted and had hardly any dressing on. I should have asked for fresh but......oh well. The rolls and butter were to die for! And then they started to come! The Characters!!!!! They were all decked out for Halloween!
Then they brought the food. I don't eat meat but my DH said they were a liitle dry like they were under the heat lamps too long. The side dishes were fine! Mixed veggies that were grilled and homemade mashed potatoes and Mac & Cheese.
Then more characters came and then it was time to leave. We started to walk out and we saw Janet2K again so we chatted a while and then my DH elbowed me and said ...honey isn't that the women you said to look out for???? Well you see... I copied the list that Pooh&Piglet made on the thread about Oct. 27th MNNSHP Update! I carried it with me so I could look for people. I told my DH to look for a blonde women in a wheelchair with her husband and he found her seated behind Janet2K! It was Figaro! So we stopped and chatted with her. Then someone else taps me on the arm and seated behind Figaro is KathyR with her family at a big round table! They were dressed as Mulan Themed Charaters! I forgot to mention that Janet2K daughter was dressed as Jasmine...very pretty!!! One other thing.....as we were eating who walked by our window but the ZURGS!!!! We tried to get their attention but it was too late! We did see you guys though and you looked fantastic! Here is a picture of the window seat!
So it was like a Mini DIS meet! Nice to talk to all of you!!!!! Janet2K I will PM you because I have a great picture of you and your daughter!
Next it was time to go to MNSSHP and have fun! We were on a mission....since we skipped dessert....we wanted CANDY!!!!!
So off we went to fill our bags! We had to look for all the green pumpkins....
And we hit Paydirt!!!!!
We did go on the rides but here is where our fine tuned plans started to fall apart
We got TIRED!!!! What's that you say....can it be true...I mean we only have been up for some 20 hours now...can it be that we are geeting too old for this stuff???? NEVER!!! So we try to go on some more rides to perk us up but it backfires
Instead of perking us up...BTMR made us a liitle sick.....all that candy I guess!
So off we go to our room at the BC. Now it is 10:30PM as we leave and Concierge is closed so quick...make a phone call to someone we know and he said he would take care us when we got to our room! We had the hot tub in mind! So we get to our room and he did as he said.... a nice bottle of wine was waiting for us!
Now this is the way to end a LONG but Happy day!!!
