Whilst staying at OKW...

We loved OKW however one thing displeased me. Whilst at the pool area there was this horrible man who kept making rude gestures to me. He was there a couple of times. I was really shocked to find this type of person at a 5 star resort. I was tempted to report him to a CM but I was embarrassed, and it would have been my word against his and he was there with his wife/partner and kids, whom I felt sorry for. It really put me off going to the pool and sunbathing. Has anyone else experienced this type of behaviour from other guests and what would you have done about it ?

No need to feel uncomfortable about reporting him. He was making you feel uncomfortable.

I guess if that had happened to us I would have had my DH try to get him on film doing what he was doing.

Just making disgusting gestures to me. I was quite disturbed, and I didnt want my DH to approach him and cause a scene. Also I would have had to explain what he was doing to a CM which I would have been embarassed to do. That would have been a good idea trying to catch him on film however geting DH to keep ca,m about it would not have been possible.

If it happened once, I would have thought it was a misunderstanding. The second time I might have still given the benefit of the doubt. The third time I would have reported it. What if he was doing the same thing to younger girls?

And I don't think it matters where one is staying (and OKW is not a Five Star Resort, not that it matters as far as this thread goes) you find all types everywhere.

A coworker had an uncomfortable situation with a man in a hot tub while on a business trip to Dallas, and reprted it. Get this--the police were summoned and the guy ended up being arrested. Not because of what he did to her, as she didn't want to press charges, but because he had an outstanding warrant for spousal abuse!

You had every right to report it.

I probably would have had a hard time keeping my DH calm, too.

I would have discreetly told him to get the camcorder and get this guy on tape.

If this or anything similar ever happens again, make someone aware of the situation. You never know, this guy could have followed you without being noticed back to the unit you were staying in.

What an idiot he is.

I would have reported it...what if he followed someone without a DH. Scum is scum no matter where they live or stay on vacation.
