As it stands right now we have an ADR for dinner at Liberty Tree Tavern for the night we are going to MNSSHP. We have been here once before for lunch a few years back.I think we had sandwiches of some sort but really don't remember.

I am wondering if maybe I should try to switch to Tony's Town Square as we have never been here before and wonder if the food would be better here?

I have read good and bad reviews about the food at both places so I really don't know what to think.

If it helps, we are 2 adults going. As far as the characters go, we can take them or leave them. :)

So which would you do? Any input appreciated. :flower3:

I voted for Tonys, mainly because I like Italian food. While we had a bad experience there a long time ago, we tried it again about a year ago and enjoyed it.

My personal preference for when I've done MVMCP is to do a late lunch at the Kona Cafe, maybe a drink at the Tambu lounge, then head over the the party around 4:00. We don't need dinner after that. ;)

We ate at LTT before our MNSSHP last year. We loved it! The characters have on masks and the atmosphere is great. It's a great way to get into the MNSSHP spirit. Some of our best character photos were taken at LTT. My kids still tell me that the mac n cheese was the best they've ever had. I really enjoyed the dessert!

I voted for LTT. It's usually just two adults when we go, too - DH and myself, and I can tell you that we LOVE LTT. We're not big on dining with characters - sometimes we don't like to be interrupted while we're eating. But the food at LTT for dinner is excellent - like a Thanksgiving dinner. I constantly dream about their mashed potatoes and gravy! LOL And seeing the characters in their Halloween costumes will help get you in the mood for the party.

LTT over Tonys hands down. OUr Tony's meal was among the worst we have ever experienced. Put it this way, the bread with dip that they brought out before the meal was the best part! :lmao: LTT is fun with the characters in costume:

I voted for LTT since I think the food's better there, and the character meal will be no more after this year, so get there while they still have it!

We loved LTT, the only thing I could of done without was the apple cobbler. But that is just me, I just wish they had a variety of desert to offer for the same charge. We are planning on going this year before our MNSSHP as well..

Wow, it sounds like LTT might be the way to go!

We Love LTT! Our Favorites are the Pot Roast and the Chicken Applewood Salad.( I think thats what it's called:confused:) They have the best food ever! And they're filling.
Enjoy!

Is this for lunch? Because it looks like they have a set menu for dinner?

I voted for Tonys because I like thier dinner menu better. I have been to both for lunch, and if you were eating lunch I would say LTT. The Pot Roast is to die for. popcorn::

I voted for LTT. Dinner is a fixed menu and I enjoy the food. it's turkey, pork, and roast beef. Sides are mashed potatoes, green beans, and mac & cheese.

I went to both restaurants on my last trip in July/August. I didn't send anything back at LTT while at Tony's I sent my first entree back as it was truly not what the menu described (a gnocchi dish) and the second entree went mainly uneaten (Chicken Parmesan) as it was barely edible. I have had better Chicken Parmesan from the frozen food section of my local supermarket.

Im glad you chimed in because the Chicken Parmesan is what we both would have ordered!

You're welcome.

Obviously others will have a differing opinion and I could have caught the kitchen on a bad night. I can say that I will not be going back to Tony's anytime soon.
