3 adults 3 children 4,7 and 19 months for 7/9 days last week of augest first week of sept so the hours are shortened at the park and I doubt we would use EE or late nights

I'm headed to the Wyndham Palms Resort and Country Club on Friday. We reserved a two bedroom, two bath villa reserved thru hotelkingdom.com at a rate of $89 per night. I have read very postive reviews on this board and I will post my impressions when I return on July 23rd.

what are you going to do?

if just WDW then the Cont - but you don't need 8 days. and I would definitely use EE - the parks are closing early - if you use EE you can get an extra hour in the parks. You can walk to the MK from Cont - no other resort or hotel will give you this kind of access. kept in mind that you will only get 2 queen beds and a day bed in the room. you also are on the monrail so monrail access to Epcot is very easy from this resort.

if you are visiting other places besides WDW (like US/IOA or SW) then Wyndham Resorts - they have a much higher tug rating and the people seemed happier in the reviews section.

you can rent points from a DVC member for a 2-bedroom but it would cost you more.

we have a 5 day hopper pass but would also like to go to SW and the boys would like to go to KSC.

we're going on a budget so I think the extra 400$ saved would be better used some where else EE days are usually very busy from what I've read.
