Which would you choose?

I'm on the fence about my ressie at Whispering Canyon the day of MVMCP. My time is for 5:10 but I think I need to change it (see my post over at theme park).

If I should change it due to the party, which place would you choose to eat? DS22 and I don't care about food- as long as it's good and tasty. We can eat just about anything.

Would you choose Whispering Canyon (never been there), Liberty Tree Tavern (I've been there in '08 & DS hasn't), or Diamond Horseshoe (never been there)? I would do a late lunch.

Whenever we do a party, we go into the park at 4 and have a QS dinner around 5-5:30. It depends on what you want to do at the party, usually we want to see some high demand characters and get into the first queue by 6:15pm. With that, diamond horseshoe would be your best bet out of those 3.

My go-to on party nights is Grand Floridian Cafe. Just hop on the monorail after dinner and you are the next stop. Parties start at 7, though they let people in at 4 (who didnt already spend the day at the park.) I would allow 1 hour for dinner there, so if you do choose it, choose a time an hour before you want to arrive at the party.

I agree with Narawen. I would do quick service for dinner (Columbia House if it's open) and do a nice sit down lunch earlier in the day if you want a table service meal that day. We didn't get enough done the one time we did the party figuring dinner out (even Pinnochio Haus was super croweded and took too long). We also spent too much time waiting on the parade. The prices for these hard ticket events is so high now that I wouldn't waste a minute more of the night than necessary eating, let alone eating out of the park, IMO.

Me personally, I would do quick service for dinner like the other DISers said above, but we also like to get to the parties around 4-4:30. If time isn't that important, and you just want to go to the party around 7, I say keep your ressie.

When we did MNSSHP this year, we did a nice sit down brunch at Kona and just grabbed something QS at Pesco Bill's when we got hungry right before the party officially started (didn't have park tickets and went to MK right at 4)
