Which would you choose?

Having a hard time deciding on what option would be best for a trip with my family. We are a party of 8, returning after a wonderful trip this past February!

We are looking at the last week of April, or Halloween and the first week of November.

The crowd calendars look similar, as well as price. I've read about cheerleading crowds in April, as well as Wine and Dine Marathon crowds in November, so...

Which would you choose, and why? Why not the other?

I voted last week in April. It would be during Flower and Garden at Epcot, which is beautiful with lots of tasty food booths. It's not totally mind blowing hot yet and the chances of rain are slimmer. I'm actually not a fan of the Halloween decorations and there is a chance of cooler weather, which being from Georgia, I don't like.

We have gone the last 2 years at the end of April. The weather was great - not a drop of rain either trip. Crowds were low during the week and more crowded on the weekend (but still good). We stayed at the Yacht & Beach both times and it was great to walk over and enjoy the Flower and Garden Festival.

I would do the first week of November why

last week of april ( I have been there last two years for my birthday week ) one word cheerleaders they are horrible to say the lest

I will be there the last week of september I was there lest year at this time to and it is amazing

I vote for Halloween and the first week of November. I absolutely love the fall decorations at MK. We went last year in the middle of October and went to a MNSSHP and the Food and Wine Festival at Epcot. It was our first time experiencing both those events. We really liked them both! The weather was great!

I totally agree with monique5 - so many options that a family of 8 all of which I'm sure have different tastes would definitely benefit from the various offerings this time of year brings °O°

I voted for October/November. I've been a few times in April and enjoyed the weather, but did not enjoy the cheer crowds. I went last November and loved the cooler weather and the beautiful seasonal decorations!

i vote Oct/Nov, nothing better than seeing Cinderella's Castle decked out in lights.

Seriously?! The cheerleader stories I've read about scare me to death. I guess I wouldn't worry so much about the crowds, just their behavior..

Honestly the only negative I've read about April is the cheer crowds, and boy some stories are awful.

Oooh, that is selling that timeframe even more...I bet it is BEAUTIFUL!

I voted Oct/Nov. I would love to go to see the Halloween decorations and also enjoy the beginning of the Christmas decorations. Maybe you can take in the MNSSHP or MVMCP; both if you could (not sure when they begin the MVMCP). We would love to go at this time of year, maybe when I retire or if we move back to FL.

I'd pretty well let your preference for Flower and Garden vs Food and Wine be the tie-breaker. I like going in fall and love MKs Halloween decorations, but unless you go to MK on Halloween itself, I think you'll miss them. Not sure how quickly they turn around from Halloween to Christmas - are you sure they'll be up in MK?
