Which would be easier for getting back to BLT?

After watching Illuminations, say you're in the area by Canada, would you walk to the monorail or walk to BCV and take the bus. Would your decision change if you were in Japan?

Of course one has to take into account the walk at the other end too. Monorail, you're right there. Bus , you have to walk over from MK.


We usually split our trip between BLT and BCV. This trip, we may not get as many BCV days as we would like.

I would take the bus to MK and walk from MK to BLT.

Yesterday, we were in WS having a snack at the American Pavilion and decided to return to Contemporary because it was extremely hot and humid. We had the same discussion: Beach Club + bus or Monorail + Monorail to Contemp.

We chose Monorail and we stopped in stores along the way to cool off.

Problem is after Illuminations everyone is clearing out of the park and most at a pretty leisurely/slow pace, so by the time you make it out the front of the park you'll likely already be at BCV waiting for a bus.

We haven't taken the monorail at park closing in years and back then it was standing on the ramp for several cycles. Although I suppose we can sit and wait for the crowds to go down.

I would hang back and take the monorail

This is a no-brainer for me. Take the Monorail. It's more fun! After all, that is a great feature about staying at BLT. Take advantage of it.

Of course I take the buses, but avoid them when I can.
