Traveling from Pop for a dinner TS one night, and wondering would it be quicker/closer to go to Boma, or Cape May clambake? Using Disney Bus

thanks DOOM! Wasn't sure if the whole take the Bus to DHS then transfer to boat to get to Beach club would take longer than the bus to AK transfer to AKL????Crazy huh?

I agree with Cape May... you can take a bus to either DHS and walk along the waterway/take a boat to BC/YC or EPCOT and walk thru the international Gateway --which ever comes first.

While I prefer Boma to Cape May you would need to go to DTD or one of the parks and then wait for the AK bus which could be longer. the difference is you take the first bus for either of 2 parks and a short walk or wait for a specific bus.
You will enjoy either of the meals BTW and can't really make a mistake in choice.

thanks everyone!!! Ak would be open late so we could do bus to AK then bus to AKL, but we are leaning more towards Cape May....thanks for being helpful

FWIW Cape May Cafe is less than 3 miles from Pop Century, therefore a 5 minute cab ride at a cost of approx $10 incl tip.
Figure about 1 hour by any other means of transportation, depending on waiting times for buses or boats.

I'm actually going to agree with a cab on this one. With Pop being so close to YC/BC, it just doesn't make sense to wait for the DHS bus at POP, then make the ride to DHS, then either walk or boat to BC...way too much time and effort. The cab ride is going to be under 10 mins and cost less than $10...much better way to go.

If heading to Boma (a place I love and prefer to Cape May), I would take the bus to AK and then transfer to the AKL bus...reverse it going back if AK is still open. Or another park that is open late that night.

thanks goofy4tink! I know that a cab is cheap, but we don't mind using Disney transport, crazy huh? All these years going to Disney and we have never taken a cab anywhere. I know its an option but My kids are split on where to go so I was looking to see which would be faster to get to. Hmmm. Thanks again!

It's likely that travel to YC/BC will be the fastest, but it can't be guaranteed. I would take the first bus to any theme park that comes (excluding EPCOT). From there, it's either a boat ride from HS to YC/BC or a bus to any of the EPCOT resorts and walk to YC/BC (if necessary).
