Which one would be cheaper? Ultimate Hopper Pass for 6 nights (essentially 7 days) or Hopper Pass for 5 days?

TIA

The UPH will always be more expensive than the 5 day PH or PHP, but I imagine your real question is on value, which depends upon what you want to do while you're there. If, for instance, you want to do days where you go to water parks AND theme parks, this makes the UPH more attractive. If you want to go to DisneyQuest, this makes the UPH more attractive. According to allearsnet.com, an advanced purchase 7D/6N UPH is $347.19 for adults and $277.97 for kids while the 5 day PH is $231.11/$183.18 and the 5 day PHP is $263.07/209.87.

So, what you need to do is figure out the value to you of the options you get on UPH that you don't get on PHP. IMO, these are:

* Unlimited vs. Finite or No "Plusses"
* DisneyQuest is part of UPH but not PHP
* UPH has ultimate flexibility (i.e. you do not feel you are "wasting" a day by going to a theme park for only a couple hours on one of the days)

Of course, one advantage to the PH and PHP is that unused days never expire whereas the UPH is only good for that fixed period. Also note that you have to be staying on-site to purchase a UPH.

Yes, I'll be staying on-site. Also, I will definitely not go to DisneyQuest.

Do you have any approximation of the price difference between UPH and PH? I will just need to go to the 4 parks and NOT to the water parks at all.

Are you interested in going to Pleasure Island. That is included in the UPH and is one of the pluses for the PHP. If you are sure you will not go to Disney Quest or the water parks, and do not intend to go to PI, then the PH will be cheapest.

BUT , what do you intend to do the other two days you'll be at Disney? If you'll be at Disney 7 days, what will you do those other 2 days if you get a 5 day PH. There are many things to do and many people take a day off from going to the parks or go to a non-Disney park for one or two days. It all depends on what you want to do.

If you don't plan to go to the water parks or DisneyQuest then perhaps you should plan to get the 5-day hopper instead. The 5-day hopper in advance is $231 (that includes tax). The 6-night UPH is $347. That's quite a bit if you aren't using it to the max. If you are there 6 or 7 days there is always stuff to do at your resort, Downtown Disney, Boardwalk Inn, etc.
