Traveling the end of June, so hot and humid, so taking in the heat and rain potential factor.

We're toying with the idea of going to EP from 9-2, focusing on WS from 11-2, going to EP from 3-9, focusing on the WS from 5-8:30 or so (staying for fireworks). The first option lets us have the kids in bed at a normal time, but I'm thinking that 11-2 is going to be pretty hot by then?

Guessing your kids are young since bedtime is an issue.... when my kids were young Epcot was a multi-visit park. We always had hoppers so we could do it in smaller chunks. Dinner and a couple of countries maybe two evenings. Future world at park opening and a lunch ADR in WS. Yes it will be hot in WS 11-2 but you can do things inside the countries out of the heat and sun. Mexico is especially good for that. Japan was always a must do for my kids, the gift shop is great.

yes I wish we had to dedicated days for Epcot but what we're planning is two days for Magic Kingdom then one for each of the remaining park on our last day we're just going to wing it and let the children pick which park they want to return to so who knows they might choose up caught lol but I can't say for sure

So it sounds like you don't have hoppers? If not you can still do Epcot in two segments on one day... I would consider doing rope drop in Future World, maybe lunch in Mexico since it is the first country into the WS and one kids would enjoy seeing then head out of the park for a swim and rest. Or lunch at a counter service and tour just Canada and UK on that side of WS before swim and rest. Then have an ADR for the evening at another WS country, tour a couple of countries and watch Illuminations at nine. It took us a few trips before we saw all of the countries especially if your kids do the passport books. We just saved ours then the kids brought them back next trip to finish up.

Not sure where you are staying, on site or off? That can make a difference too. Wanted to suggest if you come back in the evening to dine in WS, consider taking transportation (bus or cab) to Beach Club and walking into the International Gateway, saves so much walking from front of Epcot to WS!

We always return to WS for dinner and touring the countries once it cools off. For some reason that side always feels hotter during the day!
