So I like to try a new restaurant on every trip. Next trip it will be just me and ODS15. He is 'that person' who only eats chicken nuggets, burgers, pasta (plain or just with meatballs, nothing fancy with it), etc. As a last resort, he will eat steak as long as there's no sauce of any kind on it. So any of those with not too many spices or flavorings. The restaurant choices are:

Chefs De France
Nine Dragons
Restaurant Marrakesh
La Hacienda de San Angel
Spice Road Table
Tokyo Dining

I'm thinking Chefs de France would be safest?

Probably Chefs. Don't think any of the others you have listed really work for what he'll eat. Another option might be Via Napoli for spaghetti and meatballs.

Are you opposed to the Italian restaurants that serve plain pasta and/or pizza?

Otherwise, Disney is used to finicky eaters.

Check out the kids menus for the places that you narrow down - you'll likely find plain offerings.

And given your list - I would suggest avoiding both Marrakesh & Spice Table - because the aromas from the well-seasoned food may be too much for some picky eaters.

thanks.

I'm wanting to try a new restaurant and i''ve already been to several, that's why I have the limited choices.

And the kids menus -- the food offered on those would be perfect, but the portion size would be way too small for him. He'd need about 3 of them.

Maybe Nine Dragons? I've taken my super picky nephew to P.F. Chang's where he ordered honey chicken without the honey sauce. It's kinda like chicken nuggets that way.

thanks.

You can ask for an adult size portion. They should have no problem with that. They will just charge more.

I would say Nine Dragons too, as you can always get plain rice and add something to it...

I am not a picky eater and I hate French food, so Chefs is a no go for me haha

oh, that's perfect. I didn't realize they would do that. So if on the DDP, they would just give a larger portion and use an adult TS credit? In that case, we can probably go anywhere, although probably still will cross the Morocco restaurants off the list.

Not sure about the DDP. I haven't used it in years but I think it should work. I'm sure someone else will know.

At Cinderella's Royal Table, we paid $62 for an 'adult' portion of chicken nuggets for DD. I'm sure they would have been happy to swipe two meal credits for it instead, if we had been on the dining plan. Many places also regularly modify adult meals to satisfy picky eaters (no sauce, fries instead of veggies, etc.) A couple trips ago, we decided that it's okay to go where the adults want to eat, then swing by a QS later to get enough food to fill the kids. Everyone's happier and the cost is minimal compared to what you've already spent on the trip.

If he'll eat steak, you may want to consider Spice Road Table. The steak itself there is plain and it's really delicious.
