Yes, genuinely COLD weather can be a factor in fall and winter months.
We were there the week following New Year's Day once, and Orlando logged 3 record lows with a skitter of snow on the ground at MCO one night for the first time in 30 years. Highs mid-40s all but one day of our stay. Miserable!
We've had 2-3 November stays that were similarly cold but minus snow, thankfully.
But, go figger. Our Christmas week trip saw record high temps--upper 90s to low 100s. Even CMs were complaining aloud that the weather was NOT normal.
Maybe just our lousy luck? That's why I said FL weather can be tricky.
