Which week to go in august or September

I am having trouble deciding when to go. I have been there the second week of Sept. with very low crowds, but shorter hours.
We would like later hours, but do not want to end up with large crowds and waiting in line. There were no lines in Sept. How are the lines during the 3rrd week in August? Everyone back in school?, or everyone at WDW trying to cram in a last minute vacation? When would you choose?

Without a doubt - not sure where you are from but here in the NE schools to not go back until after Labor Day.

My previous three trips were mid-September and never experienced lines.
