Well..we were originally planning to go to WDW the second week of December..til I learned that was Pop Warner week..and after reading about the cheering..I don't think I could take it :lmao: so..we're going to be going in November now!

So... here's where my questions for all of you experts come in :flower3:

Which week would you choose in November? We know we don't want to go Thanksgiving week..but other then that we're open :)

Do you have to stay at the value resorts or could you swing a moderate? If you're not at the same resort as the cheer folks, you won't even notice Pop Warner...we did that 2 years ago.

Otherwise, any week in November is great EXCEPT Thanksgiving week. The MVMCP will not start until the 10th I think, so I would go after that if that's something you want to do.

:)

We were originally going to try to swing for a moderate but it's going to pretty much double our resort budget doing that..and the kids also seem to like Pop Century more then the others based on the pictures..and since this trip is mainly for them..I can't see spending twice as much money on a resort that they wouldn't like nearly as much.

I also was reading about the cheerleaders cheering in line. (And..I hope this doesn't offend anyone..like cheer moms) but I really just can't stand cheering lol. It's nothing against cheerleaders persay..I think it's really just any kind of loud repititious thing..it might as well be nails on a chalkboard to me!! :)

We stayed at ASMu during Pop Warner. We only overlapped about 2 nights, but only noticed them once when they were outside practicing and there was a group of teens on our bus coming back from one of the parks, but they were respectful and not an issue at all. That said, I would go with the the last week after TG to get in the Christmas spirit.

We are going to be staying at the All Star Movies from Nov. 7-14. We have been to Disney this same week in November before. My husband hates heat and humidity! When we went most days were about 78 with one day being 80, we wore shorts during the day and the temp is lower at night so that you can wear a pair of jeans and a light top. I think we had one short afternoon sprinkle/shower, other than that November is a great time to go. Have Fun!

We're going Nov 15 - 22. It should be after the soap opera weekend and Veteran's Day but just before the Thanksgiving crowds hit. The only problem I'm having is getting cheap airfare; that pre-Thanksgiving weekend keeps messing me up. :D

Oooh Soap Opera Weekend! I'd love to go during that time but I think the rest of my family would hate it LOL.

We were thinking of the 16th-24th.

And shorts during the day but jeans at night sounds so nice :) I think the weather will be about what it is here then (I'm in NC) maybe a little warmer.

We went the first week of November in 2005, I think the 2-10. It was great weather wise. The second part of the week we did notice an increase in the parks, especially at MK. the end of that week was New Jersey's teacher convention and EVERY public school in the state is closed. Disney has even coined it New Jersey week. It is always the Thursday and Friday two weeks before Thanksgiving. Just FYI.

We were also there during the pop warner week and thought the crowd levels didn't really change but I know they do utilizes the value resorts. We were at Carribean Beach and were not affected by any cheerleaders at our resort, although I think we checked out the same time they were getting there and stayed off property because we couldn't book a room last minute to extend our trip. HTH
