Which of these weeks would you choose to go?
Dec. 3-9
Dec. 10-16
Dec. 17-23

My birthday is the 21st, but it'll be busier then, right? We'll be travelling with 2 toddlers, ages 3 and 1.5, if it makes a difference in your decision. Thanks! :)

Each of those weeks would probably be excellent; but of the three I would recommend the second choice: 10-16. My reasoning? The third week might start to become a bit crowded as you near Christmas, and the first week (3-9), is when the Pop Warner kids are scheduled to be at Walt Disney World, with a host of little league football players and, last year, over 300 cheer and dance teams.

Enjoy.

Hi, we are in the process of planning our next WDW vacation and were planning to go December 3 - 9. We usually go in October but, this year decided December to see the holiday display. After reading your post I'm concerned about the Pop Warner Kids being there the same week.... Were you there last year when they were there? This might explain why I was told the Wilderness Lodge was almost sold out by the WDW travel agents. Who are the Pop Warner Kids? Thanks for your input.

HI,

We are going Dec 11-17 unless our plans get changed.
According to the UOG book, this week will have the lowest crowd (waiting time) level.

I think your middle choice would be the least busy for you! :goodvibes

December 3-9 :cool1: The first week AFTER Thanksgiving is always great!

Anytime kids are in school it will be less crowded.
We are doing WDW 12/10 - 12/17 then going to Universal for a couple of days, then we're gettin' outta there before the holiday crowds arrive!
Resort rates go up for holidays as well, and it can be more difficult to book.
I'm actually pulling my two teens out of school for that week before break, as that week is usually not busy for them in school. So they get three weeks off for Christmas break!

dec 10-16 lowest crowds.

I tried booking the first week of December- AS Sports was full to capacity. I believe there is some cheerleading competition going on then. We are going 12/12/- 12/19 instead.
