Hi,

We are going to be at WDW during 21-29 April 2006 and staying at the Coronado Springs hotel. Our 2 kids will be almost 5 and 7 then. They have been to DL last May and loved it, but we have never been to WDW.

Would you be able to suggest what parks are suitable for that age group? I'm trying to work out what kind of tickets I should buy and for how long, but is not working now because I don't even know what parks to visit.

It sounds unprepared with the trip being so close, but I'll be working/on business for a good portion of the trip and this is a great chance to add days to my trip for dh and kids to be at WDW.

Appreciate your help.

I would say all the parks would be great, especially since you're going for a week! But the top priority would have to be the Magic Kingdom! :thumbsup2

After that, all the others are equal for us in terms of importance! As in, still "must-do's" ;) But if we had to choose only one, it would be the MK.

Sorry, not much help I guess!

At that age they will enjoy all the parks. My DGD was 4 last Sept and enjoyed everything. Ak has alot to offer, especially with the new roller coaster and the safari ride, MGM has so many of the disney show characters, Playhouse disney, beauty and the beast show, The stunt show, The Tower of Terror the Rock n Roller Coaster etc. Epcot, has the many Kicot station activities that are free through out the park, Soarin and so many other things. MK of course has it own special meaning, it is the symbol of Disney that we all know and love. Since you are going so many days you will have time to enjoy all of them at least one day each and then maybe a half day to finish up somethings you didn't get to do. I would buy the ticket with the parks and more option so you can also do the water parks, if you buy the 6 day I think you get 3 parks and more options so that would really give you 9 days worth of activties. Disney Quest is included you also need the park hopper. :sunny: Look into the dining plan as well, we have found that this is a good bargin all taxes and tips are included with the plan :sunny:

Gee, pretty much all the parks will have things to thrill your little guys. Definitely MK and Epcot, as well as AK. I think MGM might offer the least for you and your Dks, but our little ones still enjoyed it there. MK could easily take 2 days, and at least 1-2 days at Epcot. You could squeeze AK and MGM into 1 day, and don't forget about the water parks! We have gotten hoppers as we like to be able to move to different parks based on crowd levels and our mood. Good luck planning your time at WDW. You've got plenty of time!

I think for those ages Mk and AK are definite musts! They would also get a lot out of Epcot. MGM would be my last choice for that age group. My 6 yo DS liked all of them, but MK and AK were tops for him!

There are things to do for all ages at all the parks and if you're going to be there that long I would certainly get park hoppers for the entire time.

MK a must. They will like AK.

All the parks! My 5yo DD loves all the parks. 5 & 6yo are tall enough to do quite a few of the height restricted rides yet are still young enough to like the family rides. They will also probably like to meet some characters and enjoy watching the parades, fireworks shows and other entertainment.

They are great ages to go to WDW and will like lots of things in each of the parks.

Enjoy

I would definitely try all the parks. With the park hopper ticket option, you can try them all and then let the kids decide where they would like to spend the most time. There is something for them at all 4 parks and it is definitely worth the extra bit of money to get the hopper option. Our personal fave is of course MK with MGM a close second! :)

Definitely 2 days at MK. Then I would say a day each at MGM and Animal Kingdom. If your kids are like mine, they will be bored at Epcot. Sure there are the Kidcot zones, but that will only humor them for so long. My kids loved MGM (Muppets 3D, Star Tours, Great Movie Ride, Backlot Tour and believe it or not even Tower of Terror). They will love Fantasmic. Also, they will be adding a character dining of Toy Story characters at Hollywood & Vine (MGM) in April. You should check into that and make ADR's real soon for that. :goofy:

Another vote for all the parks, but I think MK should be your main park with kids that age. Last summer I was there with my DW, DD (9) and DS (two months shy of 6). Both kids loved every park. In fact, all 4 of us had a different favorite park: Mine-Epcot, DW-MGM, 9yr old-AK, 5yr old-MK.
