Which way would you prefer LE pins are sold?:
1) Buy as many as you want -- no limit -- and make at least 5,000 of one style. After two weeks, remaining LE pins are available to purchase mail order.
2) Keep the current 2 pin per person per day limit (no matter how faulty a system it is)
3) Increase the pin limit to 5 per person
4) Suggestion:

I'd like current first day limits, but if there are any left in two weeks,
or even the next week, then I'd like to be able to buy them via phone.
The popular ones are still going to sell out fast, but the majority of
the ones at DLR are still available after 30 days, so why not make
them available to phone orders sooner? They might actually increase
their profits by doing that - and limit what people will put their money
into on the secondary market.

I've often heard the suggestion two per person, per day, and somehow linked to your park pass.

This would prevent our finned friends from buying at every pin cart in WDW.:smooth:

Well, you know, the funny thing about this 2 per person, per day theory, everyone seems in favor of it -- until they want one, or want someone to get them one. :jester:
Tying to a park pass is a good idea. But talk about a lot of hoopla just to buy pins. It's not like they are free.
Not that I have any say ;) :jester: but at least raising the limit, maybe that would just keep everything on a more honest level.
Maybe these scenarios would cease:

-- Yeah that group of complete strangers across the room is in my group and I would like to buy them each two pins.
-- Going from cash register to cash register (whether it be in the same room or various parks).
-- Bringing along all your relatives who are well enough to at least breathe.

I admit I am a register hopper. :wave2: Guilty as charged. (No kids or relatives to drag around. ;) Most often Blaine isn't even available.)
And most buyers are like me. We all see each other again -- seems like the same line -- only in a different space. ;) I figure the CMs gotta be knowing we are NUTS and rolling their eyes.
I generally supply at least three others, besides myself. And that is when others don't e-mail me.
I try to get pins for me, others, and at least one to trade. So where does that leave me? Register hopping.
