we'll be going to FW in june, we have always taken hiway 27 off of turnpike to I believe its 192 and front gate, should we continue to I-4 ? We feel the first is Quicker, but this time we'll be on our 37 foot RV and things might get tough on 27with traffic.

That's the best way to go in my opinion. Take 27 to 192 east. I would avoid I4 unless you know its clear, it can be a real pain. Sometimes its clear and some times its a parking lot.

We don't turn off (north) from 192 on World Drive (the main gate), we continue east on 192 to Bonnet Creek Parkway and turn left at the small tower structure right after passing thru an underpass (the Disney Vacation Club structure). This avoids the possible back up and the narrow entrance at the main gate. You will go north past Old Key West to a dead end ... turn left and you will get to FW.

Getting thru the main gate is fun and symbolic, but it is very narrow and can get backed up during peak times.

After 20 hours on the road the only way to enter WDW is through the main gate! The symbolism and excitement is too much to miss! :Pinkbounc :bounce:  :Pinkbounc :bounce: :teeth:

I agree completely, unless your driving a 41' motorhome.

It is very narrow and can be a little tricky when tired, but it is also more direct and quicker, if no lines.

We are going back Thursday BTW, traveling from Polk City, about 30 miles, our winter house. Had no troubs getting a ressie, I will be curious how busy it is.
