Which Waterpark do you prefer

Blizzard Beach. Just because the theme is better, and they have Summit Plummet. Just all around better to me.

All 4 of our trips to WDW have been around Christmas time so TL is always closed for rehab. We always have a good time BB, but our disappointed we haven't been able to try TL. I wish they would alternate refurb times for those of us that go at the same time every year, but I guess it does make sense to have the winter themed park open in December.

Surprised to see the results as one-sided as they are. We love both, but I give the slight nod to BB. Like others have said, they offer pretty different experiences. BB has better overall slides (I particularly like the toboggan racers), even if you don't do Summit Plummet, and the far better "family" raft ride (TL's is awful and done in about 5 seconds). BB also has the better area for the little ones. TL offers the better wave pool (with the giant tidal waves), Crush'N Gusher, and the shark reef.

TL wins because of the awesome wave pool.

DW prefers TL because there is more shade. Myself I like both parks.

Most of the rides at TL are just "meh". But my kids love shark reef and we all love Crushin Gusher.

So with that in mind, TL if we have a couple hours to kill, BB if we have all day.

There's no two ways about it - the family raft ride at TL sucks. Worst one I've ever been on and a long line to boot! As to wave pools, we really don't care for the one at TL. It seemed really cool at first, but the novelty wore off within a few minutes. My kids could play in the one at BB (or most any other water park) all day.

I'm a water bug and love Typhoon Lagoon. I like the theme there more too.
