We have not set a date for our trip. We have never done any water parks. Our kids will range from 7-13. The 7 year olds will be ok swimmers, but not great. Any advice would be great.

I think with that age range you would enjoy both water parks. Just remember that since you have not yet set a date, they both close for a while in the winter.Have fun,

Bob

We've been to both. Each has its own unique attractions. I personally like the theming of Blizzard Beach better, but Typhoon Lagoon has the new water coasters, "Crush n Gusher," which I haven't experienced yet. It also has a wave pool that makes six foot waves; it also has a shark tank that you can view from a submerged boat or, if you feel so inclined, swim with them; BB's wave maker just makes moderate swells, not waves. Both have lazy rivers, and both get really full in the summer, often closing when they get full. The best thing is to go early and get your spots. Both are really well guarded so your kids will be well taken care of!!!!!!
