im going in may with best friend...she doesnt like water slides too much, unless they are the ones you ride down while on tubes..which one has more of these type of rides?? thanks

If you watch the Travel Channel, you will see that BB is rated the 2nd best water park in the USA. TL didn't make the list. I haven't been to either one, but we hope to go to BB later this year. Eventually we want to visit both of them. I am sure both can be a lot of fun!

We have been to both TL and BB, but we love TL the most! It has the wave pool with very BIG waves that you can body surf. There's also the Shark Pool that you can swim with tropical fish and of course, sharks! This really impresses my students in elementary school when I tell them I've swam with sharks! LOL They have a long 'lazy river' ride with tube floats that I absolutely love (it's longer than BB's). There are several slide rides with tubes. There're also three slides that are not long or steep and are really fun, but you don't use a tube on these. It's much more laid back than at BB, because the slides and water rides are tamer. We end up staying at least 4 hours every time we go and most of the time much longer.
The only water ride we like better at BB is the family raft ride. It is much longer and more fun than the one at TL.

I have been to both TL and BB. My choice is BB. They both have a wave pool and a lazy river. I like the slides and the lazy river at BB the best. We normally go to TL once while we are at WDW and BB every day.

Have a great time!

You go to BB every day? You don't go to the theme parks? Or do you do both in one day? Just wondering. We have had trouble fitting in a water park just once because we are always at the theme park, but we have decided to just plan a day at BB this year and we are going to 'make' ourselves go there instead of the other parks.

Yes, we go to BB everyday. Before our daughter came along our schedule would be: get up for breakfast and head off to the water park for a couple hours and then go back to our hotel get cleaned up and then head off to the parks. We normally go for 10 days so we had plenty of time at each park. Now, with my 18 month old we don't spend as much time at the water parks.
