Which water park?

When we go to WDW, DS will be 10 3/4 and DD will be barely 6. DS loves everything about water and will do pretty much anything he is able to. DD has not tried water slides yet but last summer started sticking her face under the water with her armbands on. I am planning on doing one of the water parks later in our stay (so they still want to go to the other parks) but was wondering which one everyone would suggest....

BB gets our vote. They have the Ski Patrol area just for kids, both of your's are the right age. They also have the lazy river, wave pool, and family raft ride. The water in the kids area isn't to deep, you can let them go and watch from your chair. Your ds might also be tall enough to do some of the bigger slides with an adult.

Typhoon Lagoon gets my vote... Enough to do for the little once. My son is 6 and loved the wave pool. (at the front of course)... I could not get him out of there... and I love the lazy river...

I've been to both BB and TL, and they both have things about them that your kids will love.

But if I had to choose, it would be TL.

While BB does have more slides, they in my opinion at least aren't exactly the ones you would want even a ten year old to go on. TL has a lot of slides and they are more age approp. to your children.

Also the wave pool is amazing!

We were at both parks last week and my kids (dd 6 and ds 8) both said they like BB better.
They enjoyed the slides more especially teamboat springs , loved the kids area ( both thought the kids area at TL was "lame") . They liked that on a lot of the slides at BB you don't have to carry tubes and mats up the stairs which they found hard to do at TL. The tubes and mats that you need for most of that type of ride are taken up on conveyor belts at BB.
But I think both are great fun !!!
