Which water park to choose??

Dh and DS 8 will be doing a water park the beginning of October. We've had these pluses to use for 3 years and never had time to use them. So which park shoukd they visit? I heard one of them had a scratchy pool floor. Does anyone know which one it is? They both like water slides, if that helps at all. Thanks.

Typhoon lagoon definitely has a scratchy floor at the bottom of it's wave pool - I got caught by a wave and dragged along on my bottom and have a nice burn in my bikini shorts to show for it... but I love TL and I love that pool so this year I'll just wear my already ruined bottoms and enjoy

Personally I love Typhoon Lagoon - yes some of the slides are better at Blizzard Beach but you have to walk up so many darn steps to get there it's just no fun!

And they have Crush n Gusher at TL which is the most amazing water slide ever!

One thing my DS complains about is a scratchy pool bottom. So it may be BB for them. Thanks!!

I would say simply that TL has a much better main pool ( the wave is awesome) and "lazy river"
BB has much better slides and attractions.

So, if its action then got to BB, if its relaxation the TL

We like them both, but I would have to say my DS(6) prefers Blizzard Beach.

Check the schedules. At that time of year, one of them might be closed for refurb. We liked BB (kids are 7 and 9) but haved been to TL yet.

If I had to pick between the 2, my vote would be Typhoon Lagoon. Crusher Gusher is awesome. Wave pool is different than most. It does have a rough floor tho. You could bring some water shoes for that maybe?

Typhoon Lagoon for sure. My son absolutely loves Shark Reef and the lazy river is just perfect.
