which water park is right for us?

I am not sure which water park is the best for an almost 4 year old. Any suggestions?? Which water park is better for young kids?

Our family of 4 LOVE Typhoon Lagoon. My boys are now 4 & 8 and have preferred TL over BB since they were about 2.

My kids are 11, 10, 5, and 1 and we all prefer BB. Kids like the slides better and the tween area. i liked the kiddie are better at BB and the family raft ride is better there as well. However, both are great parks and we like both and will visit both on our next trip in Spetember.

My kids were 14 and 11 last year when we were at BB and TL. We were also with friends, (34, 13, 11). We all liked both water parks. My DS14 preferred TL for the wave pool. The rest of us preferred BB. Particularly the family raft ride and lazy river. Oh, and yeah, Summit Plummet....

I would say TL would be best for the age of your child. BB is a blast, but it seems like it works better for older kids.

If she can swim on her own (or with a Disney life jacket), I'd say BB. If she is not a good swimmer than, TL. The Ski Patrol area is so much fun for kids at BB, but they really should be able to swim to be in that area.

We went to BB for the 1st time last fall, when my youngest was a very tiny 4yo. Only things she could do were the gondola and the family raft ride, which she loved. Actually, she could ride the tube rides with one of us, too. But she still talks about the kidddie area - I don't know if everyone even knows its there - it's kinda tucked back. It's very cute, with lots of slides for little ones - and they are strict on height reqs in there - if you're too tall, too bad! I'm not into the huge water slides, so I stayed in there with her - she loved it. Haven't been to TL, but we chose BB for the kiddie space. My DD6 and DS8 rode the other stuff over and over with my DH. We all enjoyed the lazy river too!
