Which Virgin PE seats?

I know this question has been asked before but I can't find the thread! Which are the best seats to go for in the upstairs cabin?

We like the ones at the back on the left - 79A&C. Behind you is the stairwell and there's a little "table" attached to the aisle seat (the only one in the cabin). There is no row 80 on the left. 80H&K on the right are almost as good. Again, no-one behind you, but no handy table. Dh likes the exit seats (roughly half-way back) because he's 6' 3" with unfeasably long legs! You can't book them in advance, though. There's certainly plenty of legroom, but you occasionally get folks come and stand in that space (mega annyoying) and you have to make small-talk with the cabin crew (whose seats face them) during take-off and landing. I'm sure they're as thrilled as I am!

Yes, the recline's the same - just no-one behind to consider .

Brilliant! I've selected those for next April / May I decided not to wait for the next sale so I could get the DVC accomodation sorted out. This is going to be a fun trip!

DH and I have booked row 80 for our trip in November - liked the idea of no-one behind us to worry about when reclining. We've never done PE before so really looking forward to it

We were in 74 seats which recline and have the emergency exit behind you so you dont have to worry about anyone.

Having flown on the new leather PE seats earlier this year, I actualy perfer the LGW older seats more comfortable I thought with a better leg rest.

Rumour is that PE will disappear from the upper deck totally when they get refitted which is a shame as that is a big part of the attraction of PE for me.

79AC or 80HK as you have a fighting chance of getting off the plane fairly quickly and to the immigration queues ahead of 400+ passengers on your flight.

The rumour of the PE seats disappearing from the upper deck seem to be true - but should only affect LHR-based planes and not the LGW/MAN/GLA planes - at least not yet.

It looks like the first of the Heathrow 747's G-VWOW (Cosmic Girl) has gone to dublin to be refitted.
Cosmic Girl it was who was doing the West Indies routes and some Orlando journeys.

I prefer Upstairs PE, but the two to the back of the cabin next to the galley do not move backwards to well.
