We are definitely planning to get tickets to Cirque's "O". I thought we might see one more show. I can't decide between a magic show and Blue Man Group. Entertainment value for our dollar is important since we will be shelling out over $500 for Cirque. We have two boys who will be 12 & 13 at the time.

A grat magic show at a great price is the Rick Thomas show. I saw him at the Startdust which is no more, but he is now at the Orleans. At the Stardust, he just had the afternoon show, but I see at the Orleans he is doing 3 shows a day. Prices are higher there, too. At the Stardust, tickets were $19.95.

You should be able to get tickets at the half price places.

I haven't seen any of the shows listed. I know some magic shows can be a little racy. You'd probably be best off asking someone who sells the tickets and deciding it from there, based on your kids mental maturity level.

I voted for Blue Man Group because I think their image is family friendly, though other performances may be better suited.

Blue Man Blue Man Blue Man Blue Man Blue Man!!!!!

I vote for Lance Burton. We had seen Siegfried and Roy once before, and we thought his show was nearly as good. And it was about half the price. Kid friendly too. Penn and Teller are NOT kid friendly, BTW.

I'll second the comment that Penn & Teller are probably not the best choice for the underage crowd. There is some innuendo, lots of 4-letter words and anti-religious comments. Really funny, but save it til they're older. Blue Man Group would definitely a good choice for a family but it is fairly expensive too.

Since it is boys, I would suggest the Blue Man Group, they will love it! Lance Burton is good too, and he does bring a child or two up on stage to help with a trick, but....I think 12 and 13 year old boys would love the excitement and fun of the Blue Man Group.

My kids were 10 and 12 when we went to Las Vegas.

They LOVED Blue Man Group
They enjoyed David Copperfield (may not be in town during your trip)
They fell asleep during O

Blue Man Group is great and very appropriate for kids.

Cirque's Mystere is also good. It's been around the longest and has the cheapest ticket prices of the Cirque shows in Vegas. DH and I bought the middle price bracket tickets and they were fine - just farther up than premium tickets. We also bought middle price tickets for KA and they were great. Any of the Cirque shows are good for kids except Zumanity. That one is over 18 only.

Have fun!
