I will be taking a 4 day trip with my 70 year old mom this fall. I have only stayed at moderate and deluxe properties. I am planning on scoping out a value to possibly stay with my kids in 2011. Which one would you recommend for two adults? We will not be in the room much as we are planning lots of shopping, dining and park visiting!

Thanks!

I've stayed at most of the deluxe resorts and two of the values (Pop Century and All-Stars Sports). I was pleasantly surprised by Pop. My room was as clean as any deluxe (even cleaner than some) and although very small, I've had smaller rooms in NYC and SF for 3 or 4 times the price.

OTOH, I hated AS Sports, but that probably had more to do with my bad timing (during Pop Warner). It was the only time I actually felt uncomfortable walking around late at night by myself at a WDW resort. My room was clean and recently rehabbed, however.

For two per room, the values are fine. Have a great trip!

I am also a deluxe girl but stayed at Pop in May. It was either stay at Pop or not go at all. I was SO happy with it. I had stayed at AS Sports and didn't like it, so I was expecting not to like Pop either. We had a great time. The CM's were great, the gift shop was neat, the food court had a lot to choose from, and our rooms were clean. I think Pop is your best choice here!

DH and I stayed at Pop in February on the buy 4 get 3 deal, and we loved it. We had 3 adults and my infant DD, and the room was just enough. It was tight for 3 adults, but if it were just our family (me, DH & DD) I would totally stay there again.

We're planning a trip (or trying to) for Dec. 2010 and if we can't afford a deluxe, we're going to stay at POP again!

Also wanted to add that the foodcourt there is AMAZING. They have TONS of great food choices!

My Mom and I (22) stayed at All Star Music in June. We loved it. My mom wants to go back to it! All Star resorts are smaller than Pop. You do share buses sometimes, but we always were fortunate to sit down. With your mom, someone would give up there seat for her I'm sure.

This resort tends to attract adults, but your at disney so there will be a fair share of kids too!
