Which value has best/newest rooms?

We stayed at Pop last December and the wallpaper was coming off the wall and it just seemed dingy. It didn't help that both kids got a stomach virus the first night we were there, with my husband and I joining them the next day. Needless to say, I'm not too keen on going back to Pop again but my husband liked the food court (especially grabbing his coffee in the morning while I got the kids ready). We need a value resort for the value price so would another resort be better? Are they planning any renovations at Pop or ASMovies? Those two would be my top choices, but I'm afraid have the older rooms. We do spend a lot of time in the rooms due to our kids being only 2 and 3 so it makes a difference. Thanks for your input!

POP is definitely showing it's popularity and needs some freshening up - it's the reason we do not want to return, but also like the food court.

ASMU was recently refurbished and the rooms like nice. Have never stayed at an AS resort and probabaly won't, but the new rooms look tempting!

Have read a lot about stomach viruses at all the resorts - now we spray the room down with lysol before touching anything - so far, we've stayed healthy.

The last two trips were back at deluxe and it's hard to go back to a value - might mean a trip once a year though.

We stayed in the Baseball section at AS Sports last Oct and thought it looked really fresh. Just prior to that we have been in Dalmations at AS Movies and our room looked really worn.

Great travel tip. My kids have been sick since Nov so I'm thinking of spraying them with Lysol..LOL
