I stayed at Portofino Bay with my kids years ago and liked it, but DH and I are flexible....

We've only ever stayed at HRH which is loud and fun and popular with older children, young adults. Great vibe and would stay again with our 14 yo in an instant. Visited RPH to visit a friend staying there with her family- lots of families with small children there. I'm thinking that is because the pool area is great for small children. PBH seems to have the least pull for kids, so if you are trying to avoid staying somewhere that is loud and full of kids/teens, I would go with PBH again. They are all beautiful resorts so any would probably not be disappointing.

Any of the resorts are great for older couples. Might be nice to try Royal Pacific this time.

I think the Portifino is the nicest and most plush. You can also request a room with a balcony, but if your interested in a nice change, the Royal Pacific is also very nice with a very nice Pacific tropical theme, kind of like Fiji.
