Hi everyone
Planning to visit ASMovies in Feb04 for 7-9 days followed by 5-7 days at Universal Royal Pacific - Is this a good combination?

If I stay onsite do I have to purchase the Ultimate pass which my travel agent is quoting at £259 adults and £210 child or could I purchase the 10 day World Ticket which is on offer at a special £199.
If I purchase the World ticket, can I still get early entry into the parks?
Is there much difference between the two types of tickets? Our plans are to visit all WDW parks with two parks on the same day plus waterparks and Disneyquest a couple of days.

Should I purchase whichever ticket with the travel agent? Or book when I get to WDW?

Look forward to your advice
Thanks
CJ

Sounds like an excellent combination to me :D

No, you do not have to buy the ultimate hpper to stay ina Disney hotel although some packages (eg Virgin) are sold including this or say you have to buy it to qualify for their package prices.

The 10 pass is excellent value at the moment and can be bought for £189 from virgintravelstore & themeparkland (amongst others)but it does not get you early entry into the parks. But it does get you a character breakfast at certain locations :) The offer is only valid for use til 31st October though so it wouldn't cover your dates. The full price is roughly what you've been quoted for the UHP.

Thanks for the info. Looks like we might as well go for the Ultimate Hopper Pass and have access to everything whenever.
The early morning entry is a must for us - as when we visited in May2000 it proved to be brilliant.

Sorry another question......
Is it only Ultimate Pack Hopper ticket holders that get early entry if staying onsite?
Therefore assume if staying on-site and have a 10 day park hopper you can only get enter with everyone whose staying off site?

How does it all work? Does everyone onsite get a card to book things to their room bill, etc and this card also stores details of your ticket and determines if/when you can gain entry to the parks?

Last time we visited we has Ultimate tickets and just swiped our cards and gained entry wherever/whenever.
I am a little confused
thanks in advance of your assistance
