Our family of 5 will be in the world in March. Me, DH, DD 18, DS 16, and DS 12. Two of the kids will have birthdays while we are there. If you were only going out for two nice dinners, moderate price, where would you choose outside of the parks. Thanks

Whispering Canyons (your kids seem about the right age) or Chef Mickey's (might be a little old -- depends on the kids). We have done birthdays at both of these and had a great time!

I am 19, so not too far away in age from your older kids. I am going to the Spirit of Aloha show for my birthday this year and I am soooo excited! I've never been and I hope it will be a lot of fun for a birthday. I have also been to Artist Point and Spoodle's for my birthday and loved them as well. Do you want characters? My mom always surprises me with a cake too which makes me feel really special, I bet your kids would like that too!

then you could pick those within your price range, and let the birthday person select.

My favorites (moderately priced) are: Boma's, O'Hana's, Spoodles, and Rose and Crown.

Thanks for all the great suggestions. Ohana's and Boma were two I was considering and I never really thought about one of the dinner shows, but that is a good idea.
